The Huddersfield All Music Consort is a music society consisting of an informal group of amateur musicians who meet on a monthly basis to share one another's interests and perform and
listen to a range of music. It provides a framework for members to perform together on an informal basis and to form groups in order to present a work at a performance meeting.
Meetings are held at St. Paul's Church, Armitage Bridge, near Huddersfield, on selected Saturday evenings from early autumn to spring. The meetings last for about 2 hours with an interval for tea, coffee and conversation.
The All Music Consort is open to anyone who sings or plays an instrument and wants to play with others or perform to an audience. Membership is at the discretion of the committee.
It is hoped that each member will be able to perform at least once during the season. Many members play several times each year. You can attend as a guest at first if you would like to give it a try before joining. Membership is only £12 per year.
Due to the Coronovirus outbreak our meetings in April 2020, May 2020 and our
Summer Party in June 2020 have now all been cancelled.
We hope to be back in September with a full programme of meetings for the 2020-2021 season.
